Solutions Engineering & Software Development

The Solutions Engineering team is responsible for the development and maintenance of custom applications for the School. Examples of custom applications include:

• The Clinical Education Portal (CEP): CEP automates workflows around tracking clinical hours requirements and student evaluations.
• The Contracts Database (ContractDB): ContractDB is a system that collects and manages data related to the contracts of Nursing faculty and instructional staff.
• The ONR Grants Proposal App: This application tracks applications to ONR grant programs through every stage of their lifecycle.
• The Pilotgrants App: Similar the the ONR Grants Proposal App, but tailored to the particular requirements of the pilot grant program.

Faculty and staff of the Nursing School with requests for new custom applications or changes to existing applications are encouraged to contact the ITS Service Desk at servicedesk@nursing.upenn.edu.
