Penn Nursing Scientists Advance the Frontiers of Healthcare
The University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing is a premier academic and research institution renowned for advancing the frontiers of nursing science, producing leaders, influencing policy, and defining patient care. Across the departments of Biobehavioral Health Sciences and Family and Community Health, Penn Nursing scientists produce new knowledge in multiple areas: Biobehavioral research, developmental disabilities and autism, geriatrics, global women’s health, health equity, health outcomes, health transitions, nursing history, and public policy. Here, professors teach using ‘high-tech and high-touch’ methods such as interactive textbooks, video debriefing, electronic health records, and high-fidelity simulations.
